FAQ

  • Why Pilates?

Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout that strengthens your core, improves posture, and enhances flexibility. It’s perfect for all fitness levels and can be tailored to your individual needs. The focus on controlled movement and breath helps reduce stress and improve body awareness. Whether you're recovering from an injury or looking to build strength and stability, Pilates offers a smart, sustainable way to move and feel better.

  • Can it help me build get stronger?

Absolutely! Pilates makes you stronger by targeting your deep core muscles, the foundation of all movement and stability. It uses controlled, precise exercises that engage your abs, back, glutes, and pelvic floor, building strength from the inside out. Unlike traditional strength training, Pilates also improves muscle endurance, balance, and control, helping you move more efficiently and prevent injuries. Over time, this creates a leaner, more resilient body that’s strong, stable, and well-aligned.

  • How often should I do Pilates?

Depending on your lifestyle and what other activities you do, I recommend going 1-3 times a week. But this will depend on many other factors, so you need to decide what is best for you and what you can maintain consisently..

  • What is the difference in 1:1 and 1:2?

Both will be personalized and provide you an elevated experience. 1:1 is more catered to you and your goals and even how you feel on that specific day. If you have an injury, low-back pain or are pre/post natal, this would be the best option for you. Or if you don’t want to work out with a lot of distractions around you.

1:2 is a semi-private that will still take into account your pain or injuries but you will be in class with another person so it’s not as specific to you entirely. Great for you and your bestie and a little less cost than 1:1.

  • How should I prepare for the class?

Get your water bottle, wear tighter fitting clothes so I can see your form while you move. Pilates grip socks are required. No body lotions or perfumes and get ready for a great workout!
